And the name might be a bit cringe but it was obviously originally invented by German speakers so give them a break. Given that, it’s not as cringe as many other such Anglisisms that Germans tend to come up with. Plus the likes of Aloft or, worse, Air BnB are also not exactly the smartest creations and probably introduced by native English speakers even.
