Yes, I agree, I am an authorized user and need just to top up my airline loyalty account for an award, but I can’t access the points in the Capital One account to transfer to a loyalty account in my name. Nor can the primary cardholder transfer it to me, as I am already on his account. (if I had my own Capital One card, that is different situation)

Right, but thats if you have own your C1 account right? Not to be confused with being an AU? I just called them to check, and agent told me the primary has to transfer to an account in his/her name.
