My post got deleted in the other thread but I think there's been a cultural shift. Instead of focusing on operational excellence, you have an airline prioritizing South by Southwest collabs, Tom Brady as "strategic advisor" and the CEO going on morning shows to talk about himself. Apparently if you go around the Operations Control Center employees have put Tom Brady as their desktop backgrounds and made stickers that say "Tom can fix this." I keep seeing the word hubris and I think that's the perfect descriptor of Delta in 2024.
