I would follow QRC3288 advice. CX does not have a regular status match program.

I once wrote a complaint to CX (I very rarely do) and got contacted by cs on phone offering CX GO after submitting some info.

But I find it much easier to keep OWE on BAEC based on my business class travel.
I would think twice about moving from OWE to GO though. To me, the only significant difference between BA OWE and DM is award redemption availability. There are some other differences, but they are not significant to me. However, retaining OWE is much easier for my travel pattern and I hate being downgraded for a year, or possibly more.
