I just booked a 29,000 mile Star RTW in F ex-Japan for US$7,900.

I consider that a pretty good value, but one does have to to go Japan to start it.

The F segments are SIN-LHR on SQ (77W, unfortunately); FRA-SFO on LH in a 747-8; and JFK-HND on NH.
