Considering it’s already after midnight in ATL and on the east coast, and that over 100 cancellations went in within the last hour, I wonder how many of these were creeping delays that finally had the plugs pulled on them.
Especially terrible for customers in circumstances like those. Makes you wonder if DL is considering doing a full reset.
549 as of 5:20 AM ET. We will see what the day brings. Best of luck to everyone out there. If my flight today doesn't go, I see no DL nonstop inventory until Wednesday.

I know it isn't going to happen. But, I bet the numbers that Virginia Avenue will see will be eye opening by the end of this debacle. It does remind me a lot of the 2016 IT meltdown as well. But as this drags on people are going to be far less forgiving. Many business travelers also have other options they didn't have 8 years ago (Zoom) and in these circumstances it may be easier to tell the client "Let's do this one virtually." Even before this, I found myself wanting to do that sometimes just because of how poor the domestic travel experience has become. "Premium, elevated" uh huh.
