It's now been siex days, and I still haven't received my bags.

Each day, the folks at BA's baggage call center assure me that my bags are being loaded onto the next flight, but their online tracking system says they're unable to locate them. Honestly, I'm starting to doubt whether they even have my bags. My AirTag shows the bags at Terminal 5, Heathrow.

Has anyone else experienced something similar with BA? Any advice on how to escalate this issue or get some real answers? I'm at my wit's end and would appreciate any help.

Thanks in advance!
There isn't anything you can do except make sure that the baggage tracker has the correct contact and delivery information. It is not very reliable when it comes to telling you where the bags are or what is happening. There were some baggage problems at LHR last week but a T5 location means that they are in the BA system and should eventually emerge. In the meantime you can buy and claim for any items that you need that are in the baggage.
