Departing YUL yesterday on a 2/3-full flight with no J cabin.

Boarding time arrives. Everyone is still seated, not a single person standing in line. The gate agent begins the "We will now begin boarding for Zone 1" speech. I promptly step up....nobody else behind me. Guess I'm the only SE today? Neither GA looks up to see if anyone is in actually line before immediately starting into the "We will now begin boarding Zone 2" speech.

Had to wait until the agent finished reading the Zone 2 message before they looked up at the line.

The time before that -- same flight, same gate -- I've had Zone 1 called and the agent called me by my name because, again, I'm the only SE on the flight.

Sheesh. Get some consistency.
