Even if valued at 1 cpp it's $250 but I certainly value the points at higher than that so for me that's the perk that drives me to keep the card even though I have zero use for $7 Dunkin and will find it hard to use the $50 Resy.
I understand that most people probably do dine out at high end restaurants at least twice a year anyway so can easily use $100 at Resy, but that's not us. We like staying home and cooking our own meals and here and there we will order take out from Uber eats using the monthly Plat and Gold credits.
Also, I'm sure that a meal at a high end place via Resy is going to cost us a lot more than just $50 for 2 of us so I don't even feel like I'm saving anything by using the credit as I'll be spending money on a meal that I otherwise wouldn't have spent money on. So at the end of the day I would probably skip the Resy credit and that wouldn't be taken into consideration when justifying the AF.
Resy isn’t just high end restaurants. Most are fairly regular places. High end restaurants tend to use Tock although now Amex just bought that too.
