I thought I'd asked my financial advisor to purchase AC.PA. Just went into my account to see and it is held as ACRFF. At the time I purchased it, you used to retain ACCOR status. Shortly after, I believe they changed their policy to annual status. As I dont stay at Accor very often, dont think I would have bothered with the hassle. This purchase of ACRFF, upon submission, did grant the upgraded status for a year. It would be interesting to know if you sell/repurchase every year if they will continue to upgrade your status.
