It is extremely rare for more than 1 seat at a time to be offered. Just because examples have been posted upthread, this does not mean that you should expect that you would ever find 2 seats on any flight that would be of use to you.

Remember that there are only 4 seats in La Premiere and they frequently sell at the last minute for top dollar; while there may be occasions on which multiple seats are opened up, it is certainly not a common or frequent thing.

Any Flying Blue member can make a booking for any other person to travel without the requirement that that Flying Blue member making the booking must also travel.

Do be aware, though, that if you make frequent bookings for third parties, and particularly if you obtain your Flying Blue miles solely through credit card transfers, you will likely have your tickets suspended or cancelled until you can present yourself and your bona fides to an Air France ticket desk.
