I'm flying Aegean A3 620 (ATH - BRU Sept 17th) in Business Class on a A320(?), via a United Code Share ticket and notice that nobody has selected Row 1.( United seat map) and the only seats taken are in Row 2. What's the story on that? Why not Row 1 (other than no under seat storage, I guess) ?

Neither SeatGuru nor Aagean show seat maps for this plane - all they show is a plane full of economy seats.
