Actually there is no indication from DL if/when these will get updated, if ever. And in fact these .......ized 739s are being used on longer routes as well rather than just the short 60-90 min routes out of ATL.
As part of the MAX order, it was announced that Boeing would do work on 29 739s in Delta's fleet.
