I'm just stuck at home and I'm possibly going to miss a week long family reunion of sorts. The only reason I didn't book another airline on my own this morning was because the fares were $3000 and $6600 on United (Main+first and first+first). So I figured I would have the club agent do it for me instead, but the seat allegedly disappeared.

Texts and emails started going out about tomorrow's flights around noon and I have time to think about this but what would you do?

1: Stay the course trying to get CVG-ATL-AUA and run a high risk of cancellation again tomorrow but have them rebook on another airline.
2: Rebook myself and take whatever flight goes off first. (I've never had to do this, I assume no chance of compensation from DL)
3: Drive to ATL tonight and get on ATL-AUA which appears to be running. (In this situation do I need to talk it over with them first)
4: Something I'm not thinking of?
