Thanks for that. Just got this email as I hit post on the other comment: The "july 25th" part was particularly alarming.
The operation of your flight might be disrupted due to an ongoing global IT outage impacting Delta and numerous businesses worldwide. While we hope your flight will continue as scheduled, we want to make sure you have all the information you need as it becomes available. To receive status updates for your flights, we recommend downloading the FlyDelta App and make sure that your phone number is added to your reservation at delta.com/mytrips to receive text notifications.
Here are your rebooking options for future travel:- When rebooked travel occurs on or before July 25, 2024, in the same cabin of service as originally booked, the fare difference will be waived.
- A fare difference may apply when the waiver is class to class restrictive and the original booking class is not maintained in the rebooked itinerary.
- When rebooked travel occurs after July 25, 2024, a difference in fare may apply.
- If travel is not able to be rescheduled within these guidelines, customers may cancel their reservation and apply any unused value of the ticket toward the purchase of a new ticket for a period of one year from the original ticket issuance.
- Applicable fare difference may apply for new travel dates. Final travel must be completed by end of ticket validity. Full details of the waiver can be viewed here: Global IT Outage
