2244 SLC-DTW orig scheduled for 1:43 pm got delayed to 3:45, then 4:15, then 5:24, then 5:50, then 6:20, then 7:20 at which point they announced they were starting to board and everyone cheered! Then a few min later they closed the door and all the staff disappeared. The flight was delayed to 8:20, and now 9:20, and there is no staff at the gate and the recovery line is still a mile long.

How long do we sit here looking stupid? Entire 36 hour RT is about to be in vain.
