There was an old thread in the SPG forum, but it wasn’t moved. So, I’ll start a new one!

Ultimately, this hotel stay suffered from the fatal flaw of absolutely terrible aircon, so I wouldn’t be inclined to return. Here are my full impressions:

Neutral:

• Only upgraded to a club room - I saw Large Suites available online, but at check-in, they said no suites were available - maybe the Large Suites aren’t upgrade-eligible
• Club wasn’t really appealing to me - no afternoon tea desserts, not a fan of evening service desserts on offer (not to my taste)
• Breakfast (offered in restaurant) is fine - good waffles, but it took them 10 minutes to make my omelet because they were pre-cooking fried eggs - taste of items was fine

Pros:

• Bed was comfortable - thin covers (fine because of terrible AC), plush mattress, plush pillows
• Shower pressure was strong - I used the wand head
• Nice welcome gift with good sweets and pretty flowers (better than the initial plate of tomatoes I walked in to)
• Bidet on toilet
• Design is somewhat charming
• They put 4 PM checkout (though, I didn’t need it)

Cons:

• AC is absolutely terrible - humid and hot - spent whole night sweaty - never got below 22
• Not close to any Metro station without hot and sweaty walk - no interior connection to mall either
• Shower door seemed to let water out, causing slip hazard on toilet floor

As I said, the AC was so awful I wouldn’t return.
