I was scheduled for HOU-ATL-DAY early Saturday morning. Received email this afternoon saying those flights were cancelled and that I was automatically re-booked on nearly identical flights Sunday morning. Is this consistent with what others are experiencing? Any idea how confident I should be in the re-booked Sunday flights going through? Has anyone in a similar situation called Delta and tried to get back onto a Saturday schedule? I'm trying to weigh a strong preference for getting home tomorrow against the risk that even if I manage to book it I could get stranded and lose my Sunday booking against the possibility that the Sunday booking could fall through and leave me stranded for even longer.
