The tickets they are offering for attendee's to the promotion are on United Airlines, but they deny any affiliation with United Airlines. The travel service they are promoting is called Travel Showcase. I've never heard of it, I guess that's why they need to spend this sort of money on promotion, he admitted this was advertising, they are promoting travel services. They seem to be a third party, so some client will have to decide if they are getting their money's worth.
I'm not sure if you are on the Cruisecritic.com message boards, but there is a whole thread there about this "company" on that site. I would post the link, but I'm not sure if it is allowed on here. It is basically a travel provider pyramid scheme, i.e. the more people that you bring in to the company, the more you get paid and then get paid more when they bring people in, etc. I believe that there is an annual fee involved also. The "free" trips that they give out for attending have the usual restrictions that all of those types of giveaways have.
