Not to stray too far off topic, but it probably didn't affect AC IT either because either they don't use Crowdstrike or they use it but staged the updates first and noticed the problem before it got pushed to production. I am sure some of their embedded systems (e.g. check in kiosks, etc.) are running Windows - it is exceedingly common - not to mention not to mention some peoples PCs and probably at least some backend systems too.
Noticed that the AC hompage has a banner up saying their systems are unaffected but that some airports are affected and thus could impact travel, but there doesn't appear to be any general travel waiver in place because of this, so I am guessing most people flying AC are not getting impacted.
