When they lifted the ground stop, at least at DTW it looks like to focused on getting the flights that were "on-time" out first before getting into the delayed flights from earlier in the morning.
The DTW flights around 8:30 to LAX, MCI, and MIA pretty much pushed on-time meanwhile the 6-7am departures were going on 3 hour+ delay.
So for example DL 794 DTW-LAX B753/N596NW is on-time, and down-line today operates DAL802 LAX-DTW, DAL1653 DTW-ATL,
So some flights are going to be on-time, some are going to be outright cancelled, and others with significant delay.
