The priority in such situaties is always long-haul and intercontinental flights. The latter are not horribly impacted and certainly AMS is still sending off intercontinental flights, albeit with delays of 1h or so. Inbound intercontinental flights also arriving.

Intra-Europe will always experience the brunt of any issues (and hence the greatest impact) in the case of IT, operational, and weather problems.
