A friend submitted an EU261 and expenses claim on 26th June for a cancelled
flight a couple of weeks previously. She received an immediate automatic email confirmation, but nothing since then.
Her friends were more organised and submitted their claims the previous week - which were paid out within a week.
Obviously the Aer Lingus compo department is inundated ... but how long are they generally taking to pay out / respond ... and how long until it's worth chasing them?
