The UK Department for Transport forced all airports to revert to 100ml size limit - without really explaining why.
It seems that different airports having different rules was causing havoc for Birmingham Airport - which was still operating under the old rules, but because passengers kept seeing adverts from other airports saying the 100ml limit was gone, assumed it applied to BHX as well. So the whole of the UK has reverted to 100ml just to save BHX from chaos!
