United.com issues
When trying to book a flight, United.com wouldn't let me apply future flight credits. The only available option was to pay by credit card.
When I signed out and signed in again in an Incognito window, it let me use FFC, but it wouldn't let me assign an E+ seat despite being a Gold member. (I didn't try to book on the mobile app.)
When I tried to assign the E+ seat after booking, it worked on one of the tickets I bought, but the other ticket still tried to charge me. Same issue on the mobile app.
When I tried to call United to rectify the issue, the automated system hung up on me twice after asking me for my MileagePlus number (but didn't ask for my ZIP code like it usually does).
Is United IT having a bad day?
