Book a ticket for next May in June for 100+$ Then do another 300+ ticket in July = > 400$
Cancel both after 2 days and you should have 400 on UA to use next year.
If I am right, you can book a ticket for a little over the first credit (eg 110$ credit - you book a 120$ fare) then that gives a 120$ new credit and extends validity of the UA credit ....
The $395 membership fee for P2's VX has been charged early July. However, the $300 travel credit is not available yet on his account.
The card was opened July 23 last year. I am hoping on July 23 or after I will see the $300 travel credit and can use it before I close the card.
I really loved the card when it first came out, but all the little devaluation makes the card not worth it for us going forward.
