Excellent Question for Which We Have Yet To Know The Answer:
Once the "Family Leader" draws in miles from the spouse (e.g., 100K miles), these transferred miles (e.g., 100K miles) have a 2 year expiration date. The question is, is that 2-year timeframe "hard coded" and not subject to change, OR will SUBSEQUENT miles moved to that family leader account from an actual flight (taken by the family member), or miles from an AF/KLM credit card, allow for the further extension of that 2-year timeframe on the initial transferred (e.g., 100K miles) miles?
Thanks.
