Comparing PPRO to PLAT:
  • Group 2 boarding vs group 3
  • 72 hour upgrade window vs 48
  • Soho lounge access at JFK vs Greenwich
  • OWE lounge access around the world vs OWS
  • 3 free checked bags vs 2
It comes down to what benefits are of most value to you. If you travel intl a lot out of JFK, then Soho is a nice step up. If you have a need to take a lot of luggage on trips, then the 3rd bag is nice. etc. etc etc.
