I have earned loyalty point quicker than expected this year and I am close to Platinum (I am currently platinum for 24-25). I believe that if things continue as is, I could make Platinum Pro. However is this worth it?

The only real benefit I can see is the increase in miles earning from 60 - 80%. This does not seem like a huge incentive for an extra 50,000 LP and I am wondering whether I should switch to my wife’s Chase Sapphire Reserve for future spending (I’d have to pay her!).

So to those folks with Platinum Pro status, did you notice any significant increase in benefits (principally, more complementary upgrades), after the change from Plat to PP?
