I am sitting in the lobby bar of the IC Bellevue, and it turns out I am the hotel's first customer!!

I was greeted warmly in my car at the valet station, then met in the lobby by the hospitality director, Atalia, and the GM.

They are treating me like a king! They have upgraded me to a suite, comped my first night and dinner tonight. I have met the GM and Chef Concierge who is booking a restaurant for me.

I am completely unfamiliar with Bellevue and the Seattle area, but the area the hotel is in a lovely and bustling area. As they have advertised, they have a gorgeous Rolls Royce as the hotel vehicle!

The hotel is not yet fully open, but I had made a reservation for four nights starting tonight, and they decided to honor it. I will post more information.

BTW, one photo shows the Illy coffeemaker, for those like me who wish to know the quality of the coffee facilities. This room also has a kettle for you Brits.
