Depends on when the coffee was brewed. Tea and coffee need to be as fresh as possible. I have often walked into the galley to ask for coffee or tea only to be served whatever stewed dark liquid is in the pot - and I have noticed it is certain types of crew who do this while more experienced ones always brew a fresh pot. I always politely ask for a fresh brew if a lukewarm stewed liquid is given to me.
