I was hoping someone more familiar than me would be able to give a more concrete answer than I got from the Gold phone line this morning.

From what I can see on the website I can order both a physical membership card (with bag tags). Earlier today I called BA to enquire about the status of the order I submitted a couple weeks ago when I became gold. I was informed by the phone CS agent that BA no longer send out physical gold cards to Gold members, only bag tags.

From what I saw it on a BA support site (from a google search) it seems as if they still do. However, due to the URL not indicating that it is a BA site I wonder how accurate this info is.

Also to save me from asking in the comments and idea of how long the items should take to come to a UK address would be appreciated also.

Furthermore, thought I should mention that rather than using it as a DYKWIA opportunity it will more be something that I can keep as a personal achievement as I do not know if I will fly enough to qualify for Gold in the future.
