That said, I doubt this kind of thing is meant for an individual booking 30 nights in a given time period, and even less likely that 3 separate stays of 10 nights each would be an option to take advantage of this.
Also, these advertised perks are likely on the low end of what you'd get if you just start a negotiation from scratch.
I mean the offer says 30 nights total minimum within a 14 month span. Not sure why 3 stays of 10 nights would be any less to the hotel than 10 stays of 1 night each for 3 employees traveling, it’s essentially the same revenue (maybe less due to corporate discounts).
This property the average rate is around $130 per night so over 30 night choosing the double points you’d get 20k points that’s pretty good to me at least. It’s obviously nothing compared to the 3k per night bonus Rio had combined with their $30/night rates which over 30 nights would be 90k bonus points (or more due to new hotel bonus stacking).
I really don’t see a reason the hotel would be averse to it.
One caveat I see is that a simple hotel booking just a regular one through Hyatt.com is technically a contract, and as long as you have a contract by the date provided you should be good.
