Losing 150K miles (expiration); Help

I have ~150K flying blue miles that are set to expire in 15 days. I had transferred these miles from Chase Rewards. Then I used it to buy an award ticket, then had to cancel the award ticket. I then took a paid flight. Eventually these miles all got classified as non-commercial miles.

I was told that transfer of points from credit cards (Chase, Capital One) are considered "commercial miles" and will not extend my 150K non-commercial miles and that only a flight will extend it.

They even said transfer of points from a co-branded Air France-KLM credit card will NOT extend the non-commercial miles I have. IS THAT FACTUALLY TRUE?

They said that if I use the miles to buy an award ticket and subsequently cancel the award ticket, to generate account activity, it won't help and all the miles will instantly expire the moment I cancel the award ticket.

So, how do I extend the expiration date of my miles?

Thanks.
