That's indicated airspeed, though. You gain true airspeed as you climb. True airspeed at 10,000', in a standard atmosphere, while indicating 250kts is 291 kts. At 35,000, 250kt indicated would be 449kts true.
True enough, I just always was dealing with the jets slowing before hitting 10…so I misspoke, good catch.
