But AA is perfectly OK and a more direct routing is generally helpful, connections seem a better idea when booking than when you get off a transatlantic long haul, queue for immigration, and hit the fatigue wall.

MCT at DFW is 1h25 and London—Dallas-Cancun is Internstional to International (ITI) so bags through checked without having to reclaim them, obviously you need to go through CBP and security.

Personally, I think the AA 777-300 is very comfortable in Business Class. I like to go for 3J in the 2 row mini cabin, Food is Ok and you get to pre order your main, in flight snacks for superior than BA, Large decent toilet at rear of mini cabin. Crew can be hit or miss. I’ve always had good crew.

Lounges are better at T3 but I’ve been to the F lounges by status previously . I’m flying. BA as going F which I think is better than AA and get to use the CCR at T5 and whilst I’m jittery about 90 min MCT it’s not enough to make me fly AA,

In business however I prefer the AA experience remember if you take that route back from Cancun with AA you aren’t covered for EU261.
