Seriously, the whole point of the curtain is so that they accommodate as many club passengers as as possible. What I think is very bad is when they sell upgrades and the crew do not have catering for them as the meals were loaded according to the loads that were known in London before departure. My husband has quite long legs but I focus into row one if it is available. I thought that BA seating was really quite tight until I flew France and found that it was pretty tight in the business class cabin as well. C-W-S calls it Curtain Roulette which I find says it all. You could be lucky, but just assume that you won’t.
Just to echo this, Air France European J is definitely “tight” on legroom.
That said, I do like the T2F lounge at CDG especially when the champagne trolley comes calling. So that’s some consolation when flying AF short haul Schengen :-)
