Might not be the kind of luxury people here expect, but we recently did a night at Postcard Ceulim and for they really are a boutique luxury hotel. They have many hotels spread across India and 1 in Bhutan and Sri Lanka. The one we stayed at is in a 380-year-old Portuguese bungalow, only 6 rooms. No Spa, but they have bigger properties too.

They also have anytime Check-In and 24-hour breakfast. You wake up at 4pm, you can have breakfast at that time. Service was wonderful, food was amazing. They can cook you anything outside the menu too as long as they have the ingredients. All food is prepared fresh, example we asked for a Mango cocktail, but they refused because they did not have fresh mango. But they had fresh watermelon and made us an amazing watermelon cocktail.

A different kind of experience than the big luxury hotels in India, we are looking at going to the Postcard Gir next.
