I got my Biometrics enrolled at the FRRO at AMD last week. I had selected the FRRO option while registering, since it is right on my way to work. There was no option to select an appointment, they self allocated me a date on which I was travelling. I immediately replied that I would not be able to make it and asked them to reschedule. The BOI replied and asked me to come to the FRRO whenever it suits me during office hours.

The process at FRRO was very simple, I was in and out in 5 minutes. This being a smaller outpost though they do not have a dedicated area for FTI as yet, the process is done right at the reception. I was the first person to get it done in the city. Approval came in after 3 days of Biometrics submission.
