Interestingly I have the exact same but in the reverse direction. 2 x JL J HND-PVG booked with avios and 2 x UC PVG-LHR booking with VS points. I would be very happy of they offered HND-LHR as an alternative.. however given there is no award space with NH, I suspect they would rather offer PVG-LON with AF/KL or another skyteam partner.
To be honest I am guessing that initially they will offer nothing more than a refund since its a points booking using an upgrade voucher. But I will fight until the end to get a proper rebooking... Especially since I could have booked JL or BA on HND-LHR with avios at the time and now there is no availability.
