I travelled once with Gulf economy to Bangkok and back from London. Flights are often late and had 10 hrs stayover in Bahrain as missed flight. I was accomdated like in a Indian hostel. Shared house with 8 others with own room and food was Indian takeaway. What I saw in Bahrain was real shithole and never want to visit there. At airport passport staff basically blackmailed asian immigrants working there to pay money if they wanted get throw.
Flights, crew and food was fine though.
