ORD->TPE->ICN stopover at TPE
We have an upcoming trip to Korea with an 9 hour layover at TPE as we will be flying EVA Air. Is it feasible to take advantage of this layover and spend a few hours in Taipei Downtown? Our flight arrives at TPE at 0500 and the connection to ICN is leaving at 1500. Any pointers and suggestions are welcome. Does it take long to get through immigration? For a 1500 flight, how much time should we budget for to return to TPE airport and how long the commute will be? (I am assuming that there should be an airport rail service which can help with the unknown of traffic congestion)
