Pretty much sums up what I consider to be his attitude towards the airline as a whole - which is just to be a OK airline.
Long gone are the days when Air NZ inspired to lead the world and be groundbreaking.
Expecting crew to deliver exceptional customer service to carry the weight of the entire airline is a big ask.
