Why would it not be? If a passenger has status with the cruise line, paid a premium fare, etc. there should be some perks that come along with it.
I rarely see people who used to be poor say “we should all be equal now that I’ve climbed the ladder”.
I still shake my head at folks who said that spending more on a cruise than some people make all year is egalitarian. It sounds just like a member’s only country club.
