I will be in Lyon for four lunches (possibly five if I'm not too jet lagged) and four dinners and will create an itinerary (I'm a tour operator by trade, so this is how I usually travel) and plan the meals. I do speak enough French to get by in a restaurant and have no problem walking a bit for a good meal - I will need to work off the calories, after all.
I also plan to visit Les Halles de Lyon Paul Bocuse, so that will be one lunch and I'll research the other options and make reservations as needed - I will be traveling alone, so hopefully it won't be a problem booking for a solo diner.
