Why not just use another company?
A company that routinely had its customers arrested on bogus theft charges doesn’t really provide any benefits to the rental market (IMHO). Has there ever been a public apology and consequences for high level Hertz employees for this?
A company that seems hell-bent on finding new creative ways to screw customers over and/or doesn’t stop employees from doing so (or maybe incentives them to do so) doesn’t really provide any benefits to the market (IMHO).
I
am using another company for my rentals, but that doesn’t stop me from warning others from choosing Hertz. And it doesn’t mean that I can’t wish for Hertz to go bankrupt again (chapter 11), perhaps this time with a better new management team that fundamentally turns the company around.
