Didn’t have to wait long for the shuttle. I think with all hotels it’s random. The traffic to get around the terminals and how many passengers get on/off all adds to the time.

I haven’t stayed at the Marriott as it’s normally over priced for me, but the Westin is my new go to at LAX. I couldn’t fault the staff or rooms. All fully renovated.
