Agree with the advice from others. Personally I'd definitely take the BMG as it should be fairly easy to use it at a Hilton that would otherwise cost 50k points for a night (i.e., you can get more than the 30k alternative) plus you should normally earn points on your BMG stay too.
so I called back on Friday and they had no record of the big offer but offered 10k points max, I requested to speak to a manager who wasn't available and was promised a callback which never happened, after airing my grievances via the Facebook team they resolved in hours and requested my bmg certificate which will arrive within 30 business days.
