I read on this site: How to Earn Miles | Delta Air Lines that I get 5 miles per dollar spent (without any medallion status). Is this right or am I missing anything?

I flew in Delta Comfort and got a fraction of the amount (not 5 miles per dollar for either total or base fare).

I reported this as missing credit and spent about 2 months back and forth in email. They claimed something was messed up, they'd fix it, but eventually just said they can't do any more than give me what I calculate at 1/2 to 1/3 of what's owed.

I then called the standard delta help line. Lady there ended up talking with the miles group who told her that it's a revenue ticket and that I am not allowed any more miles. She said she's a reservation agent and can't do more. She gave me a number to call to dig deeper. But when I call it states there are technical difficulties and can't connect me.

I started a text support chat today that was escalated to a support supervisor. That person finally agreed I should have more miles and they'd forward a message to the miles team. At this point I don't think the miles team hunkered in their unreachable castle will do anything more.

What a frustrating experience. I read some other posts with people who've had problems like this. Has anyone written a letter to Delta and gotten any results?
