I can only confirm for certain that you'll get the EQN if checking out after 00.00
00 (so technically the next day - as it crosses the night threshold)
But it might be that hotels in countries that have standard absurdly latenight/early morning flights have a standard procedure to register the proper EQN : Israel, Egypt, India and if you booked the extra night,

If one would opt to for late checkout:
- IHG1rewards elite : 14.00 H = no extra EQN
- AMB / RA : 16.00 = no extra EQN
- other timing but surcharge < 100% : still considered late checkout = no extra EQN
- other timing but surcharge hits 100% : now considered as extra night stay = extra EQN granted

But this may vary from country to region to policy......
